Privacy
One-Page It exists because we did not want to drop our own resume into a stranger’s upload box. The tool runs entirely inside your browser: your file is never sent anywhere, and there is no server that could store it.
The short version
- Your resume is processed in your browser — parsing, condensing and previewing all happen locally. Nothing is uploaded.
- No account, no sign-up, no email. We never ask who you are.
- We measure usage, not content. Three analytics scripts record page views and button-level events (for example: that an export happened). They never see your file.
What is never collected
- The content of your resume — no text, no images, no document structure.
- The file itself, in any form. There is no upload endpoint at all.
- Anything you type into the settings panels beyond anonymous usage counts.
- Personal identifiers: no name, no email, no account, no login.
You do not have to take our word for it: the tool works with your network disconnected, and you can watch the Network panel in your browser’s developer tools while you drop in a file — no request carries your document.
What is collected
| Service | What it measures | Cookies |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Web Analytics (our hosting provider) |
Page views, referring sites, country and device type — aggregated | None |
| Vercel Speed Insights | Real-user performance metrics (page load and interaction timing) | None |
| Baidu Analytics (for visitors from mainland China) |
Page views and visitor counts | Standard analytics cookies |
In addition, the tool sends a small number of product events through those services — for example “the export button was used”, “the sample was loaded”, “a PDF was uploaded”, and which interface language was active. These events contain no file content, no file name and nothing that identifies you; they exist so we know which parts of the tool are worth improving.
Cookies and local storage
- Vercel’s analytics do not use cookies.
- Baidu Analytics sets cookies, as most web analytics tools do.
-
The site stores one flag in your browser’s
sessionStorage: whether you dismissed the language suggestion banner. It is not sent to us, and it disappears when you close the tab.
Blocking any of these scripts does not affect the tool: the core features run without them. With JavaScript analytics blocked, everything except the analytics still works — and with the whole page saved offline, the tool still condenses your resume.
Your file, concretely
- Markdown, plain text and Word files are parsed into the page you see, in your browser’s memory only.
- PDF files are rendered locally with a PDF engine running in a Web Worker — still inside your browser, still no upload.
- Export uses your browser’s own print dialog. What you save stays on your machine.
- Close the tab and it is gone. We have no copy to delete, because we never had one.
Third parties
Two providers appear on this site: Vercel (hosting, web analytics, speed insights) and Baidu (analytics for mainland-China visitors). There are no advertising networks, no social trackers, no data brokers, and we do not sell any data. Those providers process analytics under their own privacy policies.
Contact
Questions about this page, a bug report, or a request about analytics data: support@treego.top. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is usually nothing to export or delete — but we will answer either way.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change is material — for example, if we ever added something that could see your file — it would be announced on this page, not quietly edited.
