About
One-Page It is a small, free tool built by one developer: it condenses a resume onto a single page without rewriting the text, cutting a section, or uploading the file. This page explains who is behind it and how the guides on this site are written.
Who builds it
I am God_archer, a software developer. I built this after watching a friend spend an evening fighting a resume template: the content was fine, the layout was the problem, and every online “resume fixer” wanted the file uploaded to a server first. The tool on this site does the layout part in your browser and nothing else.
Source and issue tracker: github.com/GodArcher. If you find a layout bug, that is the fastest way to report it — send the file if you can.
How the guides are written
- Numbers are labelled. When a figure comes from published research, it is cited with a link. When it comes from our own work — layout measurements, rewrite passes — it says so. Nothing is presented as survey data when it is a rule of thumb.
- Every example is fictional. The people, employers and metrics in the screenshots and examples on this site are invented. No real resume is ever used without permission.
- Updated dates are real. Each guide shows its last update, taken from the site's own version history.
- One narrow promise. This site changes layout, never content: no rewriting, no deleting sections, no clipping. Where that costs readability, the tool says so instead of hiding it.
What this site does not do
- No accounts, no email collection, no resume database — there is no upload endpoint at all.
- No AI rewriting of your bullets. That is a different problem from layout, and it is a decision you should make yourself.
- No paid tier, no watermark, no “upgrade to download”.
